   THE WETTEST LAND ON EARTH

Adequate facilities, scenic beauty, cheerful people, clouds and tall pines, mountains, valleys, meadows and an excellent golf course make Shillong a great destination. Believe it or not, while the whole world knows of Cherrapunjee as the wettest place on earth, very little is known of Meghalaya the state it is in.
