Shillong
is a picturesque hill station offering a good holiday all
year round. One of the most motor-able hill stations a stay
at Shillong does not require as much mandatory walking as
in other places. Adequate facilities, scenic beauty, cheerful
people, clouds and tall pines, mountains, valleys, meadows
and an excellent golf course make Shillong a great destination.
Believe it or not, while the whole world knows of Cherrapunjee
as the wettest place on earth, very little is known of Meghalaya
the state it is in. You will be surprised they have not even
heard of a state called by the name Meghalaya and when they
meet our people in the big cities of India
