Corbett, to the north of Delhi, is one of India's best national
parks with healthy populations of the tiger and elephant.
The semi-arid forests of Sariska harbour many species of mammals,
notably nilgai, sambar and wild boar, and the marshes of Bharatpur
are home to over 300 species of birds and is recognized as
one of the best bird sanctuaries in Asia. Bandhavgarh is one
of the few areas left in India where you have a good chance
to see the rare and endangered tiger in broad daylight. Wildlife
areas alternate with the forts and palaces of Jaipur, the
Taj Mahal of Agra and the exquisite erotic temples of Khajuraho.

Day 01: Delhi - Jaipur (By Surface 245kms / 6hrs):
Drive from Delhi to Jaipur. Arrive and check in at hotel. Evening
tour of Jaipur city.
Day
02: Jaipur - Ranthambore (By Surface 180kms / 4hrs):
Early morning visit Amber Fort
with an elephant ride up to the Fort. Later continue drive to
Ranthambore (Sawai Madhopur). Check in at hotel for overnight
stay.

03: Ranthambore:
This park is situated near the famous town of Sawai Madhopur
in the middle of the Vindhya Range of mountains. Due to the
thick foliage and the geographical formation of the area, this
is ideal for wildlife. The unqualified success of Project Tiger
has made this reserve a famous park for Tiger sighting. This
wildlife sanctuary is considered to be the country's best for
observing and photographing the activities of the tiger. Tracking
Tiger here is an unforgettable experience. Besides Tigers, hyena,
ratel, jackal and fox are among those constituting the carnivorous
population here. The park also has Chinkara, Sambar and spotted
deer amongst other species of wild life. The sanctuary is named
after the 14th century fort of Ranthambore, which is located
inside the sanctuary. The park, covering an area of 392 sq.
kms. is home to more than 300 species of birds. Morning &
afternoon game viewing at Park. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04: Ranthambore - Agra
(By Surface 120kms / 3hrs):
After breakfast drive to Agra visiting Fatehpur Sikri enroute.
Afternoon tour of Agra City visiting Taj Mahal, Agra Fort &
Itmad-ud-Daulah's Tomb.
Day 05: Agra - Khajuraho
(By Air / Train & Surface):
Fly from Agra to Khajuraho or take overnight express train to
Satna and drive onto Khajuraho (90kms / 2hrs). Overnight at
Khajuraho.
Day 06: Khajuraho - Bandhavgarh
(By Surface 240kms / 5hrs):
After breakfast, a sightseeing tour of Khajuraho Temples, India's
unique gift to the world, representing, as they do, a paean
to life, to love, to joy; perfect in execution and sublime in
expression. Life in every form and mood, has been captured in
stone. These temples have a wide variety of sculptures with
different themes. There are some temples dedicated to the Gods
and Goddesses with exquisite figure carvings, while others have
a fantastic range of sensuous erotic sculptures. Later continue
drive to Bandhavgarh. Check in at hotel for overnight.
Day 07: Bandhavgarh
From the undisputed ruler of the jungle, the tiger,
and over two hundred and fifty types of birds and more than
twenty types of quadruped in their natural habitat that spreads
over hundreds of kilometers of deep dense forests in the very
heart of India, Bandhavgarh, where you find the wildlife unplugged.
Morning and afternoon jungle safari. Evening free for leisure.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 08: Bandhavgarh - Khajuraho - Delhi
(By Surface 240kms / 5hrs & By Air):
Drive from Bandhavgarh to Khajuraho airport for flight to Delhi.
Arrive Delhi and transfer to airport for onward journey.
